It wouldn’t break the lug nuts free - simply not enough power. Your money would be better spent buying a mid-size air compressor and an air impact wrench.
It did do a good job of reinstalling the lug nuts.
Update (5/17/2012): This item is currently on sale here for the lowest price I’ve seen.

poor quality
The quality of these impacts is poor as with most tools DEWALT. I have two of these at work and both have been sent for repairs. I have four angle grinder DEWALT all have broken more than once. If I wanted a Black and Decker junky, I bought one.
